Purple Noise

Nothing particularly interesting happen today but I had this desperate urge to style an outfit! It seems that my style changes the colder it gets; in the winter my style tends to be a lot more dark and grunge while in the summer my outfits become much more bohemian. My style tends to change depending on my mood and what I'm inspired by that day, whether that be music or the weather or a movie I've seen, though it will always have either the grunge or the bohemian element because that's true to what kind of person I am.

I styled one my favorite graphic jumpers, with a plaid shirt to add some prep and topped it off with a messy half-up do with a vampy lip to make the outfit look more 90's inspired. Can't wait to wear something like this to college, I can no longer bare the excitement of January just being a month away!

This weekend shall be ended off with a delicious family dinner, we're having roasted green beans and brussel sprouts with tomatoes and garlic, baba ganoush and home made french fries.

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and are excited for a new week full of opportunities.

Lots of love

Electric Girl

Saturdays tend to be family days while we are here in Cyprus since as I've said in previous posts my sister works the weekdays. Christmas is right around the corner so of course we had to go do something festive today! We drove to this little village near Pafos named Pissouri where we went to a Christmas market, stopped to see the most gorgeous view as you can see behind me and also stopped by a male monastery that we randomly found that was specifically dedicated to Jesus.

There's one thing that I absolutely adore about Cyprus: cats! They roam around everywhere and all of them are so cute and I can't help but pet all the ones I get to encounter... not quite sure how safe that is for my health hahah.

Today was really wonderful like family days usually tend to be but I just mostly enjoyed seeing all the local Cypriot farms and the ocean while driving in the car as I blasted my favorite tunes.

My outfit today was unintentionally very festive with all the red. It seems that my outfits always incorporate either red or blue. I opted for some funky aztec leggings, with red hi-tops and a white mesh-knit sweater. To make the outfit look more put together and tailored I added this beautiful red tweed jacket. As always the vibe is classy but casual so that it is comfortable to move around in.

I've got to know though guys.. are you just as excited for Christmas as I am?!

Floral Festivities

Today was pretty relaxed, it just consisted of meditating, reading and hanging out with my mommy but this evening I got to go watch my cousin in a special concert. This concert is where many kids come together from schools, dance studios, music academies to perform dances and songs. My cousin was performing a song where they we're rockstars singing We Will Rock You, that changes into All I Want For Christmas. My cousin loves music and dancing so it was wonderful to see him happy and in his element, he was full of energy and smiles. I also made my first friends here in Limassol from his class who we're my age which is wonderful because I don't really have any friends here as I just said!

The weather didn't seem to be any warmer today but this time I was prepared for it. I styled this very girly but comfy outfit which had many pops of red. I added my favorite denim jacket which is actually from the men's department to the very feminine base so that it would relax the outfit and make it more tomboyish. Of course, I had to include my famous Isabella Fiore palm tree bag and added some gold hooped earrings for an urban feel.

Creeping Winters

Hey petals,

How was everyone's week? Got anything planned for the weekend?

Today was a family day since my sister works during the week and this is the only time we get to spend full days together getting up to activities. It was an absolutely wonderful day but extremely cold. A matter of days after a big thunderstorm it suddenly turned into winter here in Limassol and today it was very windy as well.

My sister took us to a Camel park which is about 40 minutes outside of Limassol center near the little village of Zygi. It was an interesting experience but it also made me quite sad because I am highly against animals in captivity and believe that no living being deserves to be imprisoned for entertainment. It was a very special and eventful day nonetheless and it was filled with lots of love like family days always are.

When we first got there we got to feed the camels; we fed them this fruit called carob which is indigenous to Cyprus and they make many products from it. We met all kinds of other animals also; there were chickens, pigs, goats, shetland ponies, porcupines, birds and many other kind of animals. I also got to ride a camel into some farm land while the sun was setting and it was an amazing experience and view to see. Before that though I kept score of my sister and mom's mini golf game which my sister explained was newly built.

As I was a little surprised by the weather I was a little unprepared with my outfit which then meant I had to wrap myself in as many scarves as I could find *giggles.* I've been creating many outfits lately that play with patterns so this outfit was no different. I layered this cute striped cropped sweater that I borrowed from my sister over a floral blouse. Added some high waisted jeans and unbuttoned the bottom of the blouse so that it would add a funky element to the outfit. I opted for my converse which of course are my favorite adventuring shoes and feel this outfit is very cute, chic but remains casual and makes it easy to be on the move.
