Blue Birds

Hi petals,

How are you all doing on this fine Tuesday? Not too much has happened apart from me moving into a new apartment. It's my sister's old apartment and feels super homy and I absolutely love living here! My heart is slowly healing from seeing people's true colors and things seem to be going back to normal.

In today's post I've styled the last piece of clothing I got from Dressgal; a blue bird beige dress. I instantly fell in love with how feminine it was and needed to have it. I added my famous tattoo choker to add a tougher element and my hoop earrings for an Urban feel. The look has a mixture of styles but everything fits in perfectly. This an outfit that I wore to work when I was feeling a little eccentric.

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Light and love,
xx

Chambray Flowers

Hi lovelies,
How's the start to your weekend?

This weekend I don't think much will be happening, just relaxing mostly. This morning my sister and I spent time at the beach, getting our tan on. I'm definitely much more of a natural tan kinda gal over self tanning, but I do remember to protect my skin by wearing SPF and making sure to constantly reapply it. Tomorrow though I think my family and I might head to the mall because my sister needs to get a few summery items before her trip to Costa Rica next week.

My sister and her boyfriend tend to take one big trip a year to an exotic country, this year it's Costa Rica. I'm quite jealous, I've never been before and it sounds amazing. They have some incredible yoga retreats when I researched online and it would be wonderful if I'd get to go to one some day, hopefully sometime in the future haha. Have any of you been to Costa Rica? What did you think of it?

I've been missing home a lot this week, especially because it's the Grand Prix at the moment and so all of my friends have come home from university and are going to all the lovely parties. It's making me miss them and I just want to be there with them enjoying the fun. My boyfriend also graduates next week and I don't get to be there, which is probably the thing that makes me the most sad, but I am really enjoying my time in Cyprus and am making the best of the weather and time with my sister.

Alright, so for today's outfit I styled this chambray/denim floral dress. I think my favorite thing about it is the adorable lace detail on the trim and as the straps. I also really love the heart shaped neckline, which is flattering on most people and also really helps with cleavage (hehehehe.) I paired the dress with a loose cardigan and some bright blue espadrilles for a more chilled out vibe and then finished everything off with gold jewelry and an orange lip.

The way I've styled this outfit is very casual and for everyday but you can just as well swap the shoes for some cute gladiator heels and your favorite leather jacket and go to dinner or a club.

Light and love,
xx

When Will I Stop Dreaming

This weekend is Easter weekend here in Cyprus because like Russians (my nationality,) Cypriots are Orthodox and we celebrate the holiday at a different time. My mom spent today preparing traditional Easter food for tomorrow and we also went to run some errands. Our first stop was at the botanical shop.. I didn't want to leave. There were so many trees, plants and flowers of so many glorious colors. I just went around smelling all of them and looking at them; some of the flower tenders started to look at me weirdly. I also made friends with a little black and white cat who demanded to be scratched and followed me all around the garden. We then went to do some food shopping and run some other errands for my sister.

I went for a very feminine and romantic look with the soft wavy hair. I opted for all neutral colors. I paired a short bodycon skirt with an airy and delicate cream cowl-neck top. I went with my trusty black ankle booties, my cape for both warmth and to add a chic element. I also went for some statement earrings to add some shine to the outfit.

Happy Easter to all my Orthodox followers!
Light and love,
xx

Girly Grunge

Today I opted for an outfit which was grunge yet still girly. I went for the 90's look with the boots, dark colors, choker and vampy lip, while choosing a skirt to still make the outfit a little bit feminine. I love the polka dots on the skirt, even though they're neutral they are still very fun and playful.

This is definitely something I'd wear out with friends or maybe on a cute coffee date.

Light and love,
