The Gettup

As I promised I have styled the cape from Stradivarius that my sister got me for Christmas. I had been dying for a cape since we went to the mall and I had styled an outfit with one. Unfortunately they did not have the gray and navy one that I wanted the first time, but she found me this absolutely stunning one which to be honest I prefer more.

Today was an errand kind of day, cleaning the house and going food shopping with the family so I styled this outfit pretty casually but the cape automatically gives the look such a chic vibe. 

I wore an all gray base but added a t-shirt which was striped with a pop of color (you know I looove mixing patterns.) I opted for white low tops today to add a lightness to the outfit and of course because they're super sleek and comfortable. I also tried out a new hairstyle; a much more put together half up do. To top it all off I added some silver jewelry and a glossy statement lip. 

If you notice either of these things, I happen to be super in love with them. First is the 3D rain drop necklace that my best friend gave me for my 16th birthday and then I am also really digging my nail polish today. I'm wearing a polish by Gosh in the shade Galaxy, it is a beautiful bronze color with green, gold and silver sparkles; very festive!

December Wishlist '14

These are some of the items that I have been dying for this month. My number one remains to be the Michael Kors tote bag, and hopefully I'll get it on my birthday in February. I'm also absolutely in love with midi dresses right now, and I adore the minimalism of both the Zara dress, especially the sparkly one because of the turtle neck which is another trend I'm digging at the moment.

I've been looking for a great pant to add to my wardrobe and these Pull & Bear chino looking trousers seem like they will look cool on me instead of too old womanish. 

New shoes have also definitely been on my wishlist. I would love a high heeled every day booty because I have no heels that I can wear day to day. I think the cut outs give the every day booty a funky feel and would amplify any outfit. The second pair of shoes that I am absolutely in awe of are these beautiful knee high boots. I've never been one for long boots but I just think these are so classy and would make any outfit look chic.

Favorite Lip Products this Winter

When winter comes along I have this need to wear lipsticks and play around with lip products because winters become cold and very slow, so a pop of color on this lips instantly adds some fun to an outfit and looks like you tried really hard when you didn't. 

My go-to lipsticks in the fall and winter are these two lipsticks from Urban Decay and MAC. The Urban Decay lipstick from the "Revolution" collection is a dark vampy lipstick that I love wearing on my grungy days. It has the most wonderful staying power but can be a little messy to apply, so underneath I line and fill in my lips with a MAC lip pencil in the shade Mahogany. Adding a dark lip liner underneath a vampy lipstick actually makes the lipstick darker because there is an opaque base. 

Sometimes I also like to just wear the MAC lip pencil with some Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream on top because it is a beautiful intense brownish red color on it's own.

Another favorite lipstick of mine for the colder months is the MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 1 lipstick in the shade Frost. It has this beautiful frosty red color which is more in the blue tones. I have a skin tone which makes suiting red colors very difficult for me so I can't go with any typical red. I really like this red because it's a lot more muted than some of MAC other shades but also a has a gold sparkle finish which makes it very different and festive. 

Even though I adore my statement lipsticks I never forget to neglect my nudes! My favorite nude color right now is actually a lip pencil by NARS in the shade Walkyrie. It's more toward the brown side which I like because I prefer darker shades in the colder months and it also suits my skin olive skin tone very nicely. At the moment on my wish list is the a MAC nude color in the shade Cosmo, it is the most gorgeous dark peachy pink nude.

Chasing Shadows

So once again I was in the mood to style an outfit so I put together this look. This is the kind of outfit I wear when I'm feeling lazy but I still wanna look super cute and effortlessly cool. I paired my favorite high-waisted jeans with a cute lace blouse. To add some comfort I threw on my plaid shirt, some converse and of course a must needed beanie. I feel that beanies always make an outfit look very cool and they make the worst of hair days chic. To give the outfit some sparkly I added a statement necklace and topped everything off with NARS' Dolce Vita lipliner on my lips.

White Teeth Teen

Hi lovelies!

How was everyone's Saturday? And if your day isn't over yet, have you got any plans?

Today was the typical Saturday for me; family outing day. We went food shopping and then to another Christmas fair but this time in Limassol. The fair was much bigger than we had imagined which made me really excited. There were rides everywhere, market stalls, delicious smelling food, a gigantic concert stage and an ice rink. This time around we didn't do much but look around but we're gonna come back and go ice skating since that has got to be one of my favorite festive pass-times! 

I styled this chic and a little tomboyish outfit for our outing and it was super comfortable to walk around in. As usual I opted for a really relaxed base and then popped on a blazer to make it look more put together. In this look I'm absolutely in love with the striped blouse because the back is a line which allows it to flow beautifully. 

Note: When finding links for the products I realized that my Nike's are not actually Nike Free Flyknits but Nike Air Max Fusions. It was an honest mistake because the two are extremely similar. Nike Air Max Fusions in black aren't that easy to find anymore online so if you are looking for a pair of black Nike's similar to the one's I am wearing I still do recommend the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit in black!
