Last Summer Days

Hi beauties,

How was your weekend? Mine was full of time spent with my Momma. She moves to Germany on Wednesday, so trying to give her all my time and attention. It will be the first time I've ever lived without my mom, and unlike college I'll have to be a proper adult with my job and everything. It's going to be very strange and very hard to get used to. Apart from that, things have definitely not been easy and I've been feeling quite lost, hopefully I'll be back to my normal self soon enough.

This weekend we just ran errands but then had a lovely dinner at a sushi restaurant on Saturday. On Sunday it was a cleaning day and then we went for a much needed sunset swim as a family.

If you haven't noticed that I am totally obsessed with this off-the-shoulder top DressLink sent me, now you will. I styled another super cute outfit with this item on Saturday and I couldn't resist sharing it with you. This time it was a color palette of greens, white and black. I absolutely love how the flowyness of the skort goes with the delicate top.

Alright, it's time for my bed, got a long day of work tomorrow. Signing offf!

Light and love,
xx

Bohemian Collision

Hello beautiful souls,

Like I promised I am back with the second piece that I picked out from DressLink.

This week has been quite hectic, a close friend from work had a spontaneous emergency with his lungs and has had to have two surgeries, so when I haven't been at work, I've been at the hospital.

No need to worry though, he is perfectly fine now (thankfully) and will be discharged soon enough.

Alright, so onto today's outfit.
I styled this beaaaaaautiful off-the-shoulder bell sleeved boho top that I picked out from DressLink. I decided to stay with the whole black theme but went for some shorts that were colorful but with a black base. I also went for a pop of color with the adorable yellow rope earrings. This is just an everyday summer outfit for me and embodies my summer style; sexy, bohemian and free-flowing.

Oh well I better head to bed.. one more day of work and it's the WEEEEEKEEEEEEND!

Light and love,
xx

Two Piece from DresssLink

Hi beautiful souls,

I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOO SORRY for being away for so long. I did not realize how hectic my internship would get, but I promise that I am back and will be updating regularly again.

So tomorrow is the beginning of my third week of my internship. I never gave you guys the details so let me tell you a little bit about it. I am a marketing intern for a Forex company; a forex company will provide certain services allowing traders to buy and sell currency. Even though I'm not really into finance, the actual marketing side of everything has taught me so much. I have learned about SEO and competitor research and how to design a landing page, all things I didn't even know went into websites. As a blogger it really is something beneficial for me. I am just having so much fun, plus my co-workers are great. I've made friends with two of the guys in my department and we are like a little squad now hahahaha.

Last weekend we had a happy hour night for the company at a lovely beach bar which was lovely and then on the Saturday my boss was having a BBQ at his house and so that's how I spent my day. Nothing gets better than that; the pool, great people, delicious food, nice wine and kickass music.

This weekend my sister and I decided we'd be on the beach the whole time but before we did that on Saturday we had to go run some errands as a family and so I shot my outfit for the day.

It seems that DressLink saw my wishlist post and sent me the items I wanted. I completely freaked out when I got them in the mail. Here I styled their off-the-shoulder two piece which I am SOOOOOOOO in love with. It is so adorable. I tried something different with my hair so that my shoulders could be the star of the show. I then opted for gold jewelry and my brown gladiator sandals.

Unfortunately, the second item that they sent me did not fit right at all :( But I am totally digging the two piece, so I guess that makes up for it.

Oh btw, I have a little surprise tomorrow. So stay up to date with my instagram, twitter and tumblr.

Light and love angels,
xx

Summertime Sadness

Hi petals!

How was everyone's weekend? How about your Monday?

I had an interview at a Forex company for a marketing internship this morning and I got it eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! I start tomorrow and I am so excited. I've never really been interested in finance but it's going to be something new to learn and also I'll get to find out about all the things that go into marketing. I'll post a little photo of me in front of the building that I took after I got the fantastic news.

I also received a wonderful gift from a friend in the mail today; this badass anti-stress coloring book that he created himself using math. I'm a bit of a nerd so getting stuff like this that shows how math and physics makes up all the beauty of the universe makes me so happy. On top of all of that my mom finally got her face cream she's been waiting months for, so it's just been a wonderful beginning of the week all around.

This weekend is also busy busy busy. Friday evening we have a work beach party nearby to my house and Saturday my family is headed for facials that we won at the supermarket, then in the afternoon a barbecue in Larnaca at a work colleague's house.

Oh I have a song to recommend, Treasured Soul by Michael Calfan. It really has those summer vibes, like you should just be hanging out at a beach party and the video is just as cool.

Alright alright, so for today's outfit I mixed some minimal pieces with some bohemian ones. I went for a neutral skirt and sandals but went for a funky top with the multicolored aztec print. I then chose a chunky crystal statement necklace to finish it all off. This day was particularly fun to shoot because it was windy so I played around in it and my Aunt's cats were prowling everywhere. The one you see in one of my photos is Habibi, she absolutely adoooooooooooores attention.

Well I hope you are all having a good start of the week as well.
Light and love,
xx
