A Sushi Adventure

If you've read my blog for a while you'll know that Saturdays tend to be family days because my sister works during the week. This weekend my sister surprised us by taking us to a Sushi cooking class. The cooking class was held at the White House on the Dam in Akrounta which is about 10 minutes outside Limassol (I'm in Cyprus.)

Our teacher was Tracey who lives at the White house and is the person who runs the courses. She tends to teach children but this time she held a weekend class. We met lots of other lovely strangers of mixed nationalities and had delicious local white wine. We ended up making different kinds of sushi (ones with rice on the outside, ones with seaweed on the outside etc.), Gyoza (Japanese dumplings) and tempura! In my case, I got to make everything vegan. Tracey was so understanding and even brought out tofu for my dumpling stuffing instead of minced meat. Finally, when it was all done we got to dig in and share stories. It is definitely something I would recommend doing if you are ever here in Limassol. If you'd like more information about her classes, just click here.

Today I styled this chic, flowy and slightly grunge outfit. I threw together my striped crop top, with my maxi skirt and of course my Nike Air Max Fusion's for comfort. I decided to go with a vampy lip and my burgundy satchel to match. To finish off the look I wore my big cross earrings to amplify the dark vibe.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Saturday, I would love to hear all about it in the comments below.

Light and love,
xx

Leopard & Lace

This time around I styled this very feminine, romantic outfit and experimented with textures and patterns. I wore this delicate army green crotchet blouse, with some gray jeggings. Then since the blouse is quite muted I added this pony hair leopard tote, which can be worn in two styles, like you can see in the photos. Since the outfit had quite a bit of pattern mixing I went with some simple beige ballerinas and finished everything off with a plum lip.

This is an every day outfit that you can wear running errands, going to appointments or even hanging out with friends. It may be a little cold where you are, so just add a coat and voila, all ready to go!

Light and love,
xx

Birthday Outfit, Maybe?

If you've noticed the title of this post, this is an outfit I am thinking about wearing on my birthday. I turn 18 on the 17th of February and on the day my family and I are planning to go out for dinner, and then on the Saturday we're gonna go dancing which I am so excited for. For the dinner I was thinking of this outfit; it's cool, minimal but still dressy with the heels.
What do you guys think?

Oh in other news, I'm also probably getting a tongue piercing as a birthday present which I am over-the-moon excited to happen.

I styled a plain black tshirt with a pair of cargo jeans from my mom's closet. On my mom they are actually skinny jeans, but because she's a couple sizes bigger than me, so they are more loose on my body. I think the fact that they are loose makes them look very trendy and fashionable on my silhouette type. I then topped it all off with some statement jewelry and my favorite pair of lace up cage heels from Zara.

The heels are old stock Zara which made it hard to find them online but I did link a similar pair.

Sultry Sparkle

Today, I am sharing with you more of a night time outfit which I haven't yet styled here on the blog. This is something I would wear out to drinks with some friends or maybe even a club that was very casual, where I would want to be comfortable when dancing.

I wore the regular high-waisted jeans, Nike Air Max Fusion's and my navy blazer but I added this fabulous sequin top. My mom passed it down to me years ago, neither of us know who it's from because it is completely handmade and there are no tags. It is such a lovely fit and the material is so beautifully sown. I paired it with a black clutch with gold studs, even though the accents on the top and the clutch are different they still go well together.

Light and love,
xx
